Admission requirements vary by degree and certificate program. Please refer to the section describing your program of interest for detailed prerequisites.
Oxnard University expects all prospective students to provide information that is both complete and truthful on their application for admission and on any related university forms.
Applicants must submit:
Official and authentic transcripts from all previously attempted academic work (high school, college, or university)
Official records of any military training or vocational education
All submitted transcripts will be evaluated according to the university's policy on transfer credit and assessment of prior learning.
Oxnard University considers a transcript official only if it meets all of the following criteria:
It is delivered directly from the issuing institution to the Oxnard University Office of Admissions and Records.
It displays both the issuing school's official seal and the signature of its Custodian of Records.
It receives formal approval following a review by Oxnard University's Office of Admissions and Records.
Unofficial transcripts may be used for a preliminary evaluation. However, qualified applicants will not be granted official admission to any degree or certificate program until official transcripts are on file with the university.
Failure to submit complete, accurate, and authentic application documents may lead to any of the following actions:
Denial of admission
Cancellation of earned academic credit
Suspension from the university
Expulsion
